The Burke Center for Ecosystem Research is a nonpartisan nonprofit in Ashland, Wisconsin.
The new Burke Center was founded to continue the work of the Mary Griggs Burke Center for Freshwater Innovation at Northland College following its closure in May 2025.

The Burke Center's work encompasses a wide range of interdisciplinary research focusing on the Lake Superior watershed, the inland lake country of Northwest Wisconsin, and beyond.
