

Debbie Cervenka
Board Chair
Debbie was a Board officer and the Executive Vice President of Phillips Plastics Corporation until the company sold in December of 2010. Her career spanned 34 years.
​
She has dedicated the past 20 years to nonprofit work, currently serving as a Trustee on Boards for: the Wisconsin Chapter of The Nature Conservancy; Nature United; The University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine Board of Visitors; The University of Wisconsin – Stout People Process Advisory Group; and the medical start-up company, GeaCom. She is also Board Chair-Emeritus of Ecumen and still serves on their Philanthropy Committee.

She is passionate about water protection in the Mississippi River and the Great Lakes, especially Lake Superior where she has worked to support and protect the Wilson Island Archipelago and Big Trout Bay.

She has also served on the following Boards: The Nature Conservancy—North American Cabinet; Northland College, Vice-Chair; Safe Haven; Life House; the University of Wisconsin–Women’s Philanthropy Council; the Ice Age Trail Alliance, and the Big Sur Land Trust.
