Gabby Buckholt

Gabby graduated in May 2026 from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She received her bachelor's degree in environmental science & management with a minor in water resources. This summer marks her third year with the Burke Center, where she is working as a communications & policy specialist. She is very excited to continue to gain experience in science communications as well as continue working on the Burke Center’s work on the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage and Dragonfly Mercury Project. She hopes to use this experience in her future career in science communications and outreach. Gabby spends her spare time kayaking, rockhounding, reading books, spending time with her cat, or making latch hook rugs.
