Ray Ottinger

Ray recently graduated from Northland College with a degree in biology. She has a keen interest in water science, leading her to join the Burke Center for the first time this summer as a Water Resource Specialist. At Northland, several professors recommended she apply for a position with the Burke Center, building on an internship she had with the U.S. Geological Survey last year. She spends much of her spare time canoeing, gardening, or crocheting. Ray is very excited to learn more about conducting field research, especially as it relates to water science, and to make connections with the many people affiliated with the center.
