Mike Boland

Mike is a rising junior at Michigan Technological University, majoring in applied ecology, with an emphasis on wetland and plant ecology. This is his second summer with the Burke Center, joining the team as a research assistant this year. He likes to spend his free time fishing and mountain biking. He wanted to work at the Burke Center again this year because the mission of the organization aligns with his professional goals and personal interests. He is most excited to spend more time working on the North Fish Creek Restoration Project this summer.
