Shelby Justman
Research Assistant
Shelby is a rising senior at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls majoring in geology. This is her second summer with the Burke Center, rejoining the team as a Research Assistant. In her free time, Shelby loves fishing, running, kayaking, and working out. She’s glad to be reunited with former colleagues as well as getting to know the new team members. She loves the wide variety of projects the Burke Center manages, with each one offering a new set of skills for her to acquire. She is extremely excited to continue working on the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage project, which targets a Eurasian watermilfoil outbreak, and to spend more time on the Dragonfly Mercury Project this summer as well.
