Governor Evers Earth Week Visit Highlights Restoration Work at North Fish Creek
The Burke Center for Ecosystem Research was honored to host Gov. Tony Evers during his recent Earth Week tour across Wisconsin. The visit brought attention to ongoing efforts statewide to address the climate crisis and protect and conserve natural resources. During his stop at the Keystone Bluff restoration site on North Fish Creek, the governor learned more about the Burke Center's work to reduce excess sediment from entering Lake Superior and restoring critical fish habitat
